We're already three months into the new year of 2021. A new President is in office, stimulus checks have been approved, and vaccines have started to roll out.
Despite these changes and activities, how has Covid-19 really affected minority communities? Hosted in partnership with TDS Business Solutions, our Roundtable Discussion will focus on the following areas: vocation, education, and vaccination.
- Vocation - many have lost jobs and are scrambling to replace income
- Education - "Covid Slide" that has disproportionately affected low-income minority communities
- Vaccination - what are thoughts on the actual vaccine, availability, community affect and marketing
- Ken Burrough - South Florida Black Professionals Network
- Sherese James-Grow - The 5th Inc. Youth Development Group
- Jonathan Grow - Social Historian and The 5th Inc.
- Scarlett Lanzas - Accountable Impact
- Bruce Lewis - Black Chamber of Palm Beach County
- Darius McDougle - TDS Business Solutions
- Octavia McDougle - McDougle Technical Institute
- Nikie Moraldo - College Hack Consulting
