Dr. Oral Waldo
Dr. Oral Waldo is a board-certified cardiologist with the Palm Beach Health Network Physician Group. He specializes in cardiovascular disease prevention, hypertension, abnormal heart rhythms, and high cholesterol management. A Howard University graduate, Dr. Waldo trained at the Mayo Clinic and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He serves on staff at Good Samaritan and Palm Beach Gardens Medical Centers and is a member of the American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association.
Dr. Monique M. Barbour
Dr. Monique Barbour is a board-certified ophthalmologist and Medical Director of Clear Vue Eye Center in Lake Worth. A Howard University College of Medicine graduate, she completed her residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a glaucoma fellowship at Georgetown University. She is also the founder of the Smiles and Vision Foundation and serves nationally as a councilor for the National Medical Association. Her work focuses on addressing healthcare disparities, advancing ophthalmology education, and promoting vision health.
Dr. J Sheree
Dr. J Sheree is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, CEO of Evolve Total Health, and founder of Black Nurse Practitioners of Palm Beach County. She has helped patients collectively lose over 10,000 pounds through her weight management programs and is the visionary behind The SHIFT Xperience, empowering entrepreneurs and leaders. A best-selling author and speaker, Dr. J inspires audiences worldwide with her journey from teen mom to healthcare leader, proving that success is built through resilience and mindset shifts.
Dr. Avis Spradley Brown
Dr. Avis Brown, APRN, DNP, is a Hospitalist at Monarch Health and a leader in community wellness. She has organized retreats promoting holistic health, led international medical missions, and serves on the boards of both the NAACP Health Committee and Black Nurse Practitioners of Palm Beach County. With advanced degrees in nursing and a deep commitment to prevention and wellness, Dr. Brown’s work integrates acute care with community-based health education, empowering individuals to prioritize wellness in their personal and professional lives.
Moderator – Dr. Joseph Taylor
Born and raised in West Palm Beach, Dr. Joseph Taylor is the founder of Renewed Wellness, specializing in chiropractic care and functional rehabilitation. A University of Florida graduate and former track athlete, his personal sports injuries led him to pursue chiropractic medicine at Palmer College. Since 2016, Dr. Taylor has helped patients restore health and mobility through whole-body approaches, lifestyle care, and personalized treatment plans designed to promote long-term wellness.
