Speaker Bio
My Name Is Ruth Thomas, And I Hail From New Jersey. In 1997, My Family And I Relocated To Florida With The Aspiration Of Finding A Better Life. From A Young Age, I Possessed An Innate Desire To Serve And Care For Others. This Passion Led Me To Pursue A Career In Nursing, And I Have Been A Registered Nurse For The Past 15 Years. My Work In Home Health Care Has Been Particularly Fulfilling, As It Has Allowed Me To Provide Exceptional Care To Families, Children, And Individuals In Pediatrics, Geriatrics, And Hospice Care. Over Time, My Proficiency In Nursing Led To A Shift In My Career Trajectory Towards Management. My Former Employers Remembered My Strong Work Ethic, And I Was Offered Leadership Roles In Various Agencies. One Such Opportunity Was To Serve As A Regional Manager For A Dialysis Center Covering Palm Beach And Part Of Broward.
In 2014, I Assumed The Role Of Director Of Nursing, Enabling Me To Conduct Several Training Sessions For New And Seasoned Nurses, In Addition To Providing Guidance For New Dons. It Was During These Sessions That I Discovered My Passion For Educating Others and observing How Students Gained Confidence In Life-Saving Skills That Helped Them Become More Effective Healthcare Providers. Witnessing Their Reactions To My Training Reminded Me Of The Significance Of Empowering Individuals With This Knowledge. This Experience Motivated Me To Establish A Business That Provides CPR education To Professionals Who Require This Training For Their Careers, While Also Raising Awareness About The Importance Of This Information In Saving Lives.
